There is an initial consultation fee for the physical examination. Any diagnostics (tests), medications and/or treatments will be additional. Prior to performing any diagnostics, treatments and/or surgical procedures, you will be presented with a written treatment plan that will include all associated costs of each recommendation. Prior to leaving your pet in the hospital, you will be expected to leave a prepayment equal to the amount of the treatment plan. You will be given daily updates as to where the current charges are and be presented with an updated treatment plan as your pet's health care needs change.
Please understand that due to the nature of your pet's condition and related variables, such as length of anesthesia and the amount of time a procedure takes, types and amounts of medications administered and hospital duration your pet may require, this is only an estimate and not a final invoice.
Payment in full is due at the time services are rendered and/or prior to your pet being discharged from the hospital.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept business/personal checks and we do not have payment plans.
But, for you convenience, VREHA is happy to accept cash, cashier's check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and Scratchpay (www.scratchpay.com). We also offer Care Credit and other outside finance plans to clients who qualify.
